snap it {red}

"One must ask children and birds how cherries and strawberries taste" ~ Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

Fruit & vegetables are my life.
But fruit! Oh how I love it.
And the girls do too.
These strawberries were some of the sweetest & juiciest I've tasted.
Food is one of life's pleasures.
But, the best food is what you can pick & eat straight from where it's grown.
Delicious.

Linking up with Sarah this week. Why not head over there and have a look at all the other red?

  1. Oh wow these look good! One thing I must say about Australia is that the strawberries are so good, and for so long. I remember in New Zealand local strawberries were really only great around Christmas time, not like they are here.
    You are so right about the pick and eat. I look forward to having our little patch of the earth filled with produce. Slowly chipping away at it.

  2. Gorgeous shot of those tasty looking strawberries. I am lucky to have children who love their fruit also. It has been difficult to find decent strawberries of late... and they are SO expensive in the shops.

  3. Hmmm...that quote is so true - 90% of our strawberries were gobbled straight off the bushes by greedy little monsters this year (and the birds got the rest)
    I'm struggling to find strawberries now too...these look good though

  4. Mmmm! I love strawberries. I grew a small patch of them a couple of years ago and no a single one of them grew to an edible {adult} size ... my little guy ate most of them as soon as they had a hint of red. LOL
